Wawa food market wiki
I recently ordered an amazing hoagie from Wawa and thought I should really be editing my wiki about wawa right now. I was searching for some wawa information on the wawa website. To my wiki I added information about the gasoline that they provide. They guarantee it. Pretty cool stuff. Check it out.
Bob Carpenter Center wiki edit
I was checking out my wikis and realized its been a while since i updated them. I edited the Bob Carpenter Center wiki by adding information pertaining to the cost to build the center, who built it and also some information about the arena section of the building.
Inside adwords
I was looking at the required blog, inside adwords, and found something that related to the concept of price that we were recently discussing in class. The blog talked about how google is introducing a new option when advertising using adwords. You used to set a certain amount of money you would want to spend and once it reached that limit your ad would be taken down. But with doing this you would have to adjust this amount in order to have a certain CPC. This new option is called preferred cost bidding. The amount that is set will represent the average cpc that will be managed by google.
Deal Catcher
I know this post is a little late but it is in response to the presentation given last friday from the dealcatcher crew. The presentation was great and it was amazing to hear that he started the business from his dorm room with a few friends. I took a look at the site and couldn't believe the deals that are available. There is a program on my cellphone that is called cellfire. Its a coupon program that gives you coupon codes similar to what deal catcher does. I was thinking that dealcatcher could incorporate this aswell. Or possibly text messaging can be used to alert customers of certain deals instead of just e-mailing them.

Point of Sale wiki edit
This is my first edit for the Point of Sale wiki, so I thought I would add some info. I have a friend who works at a company called Touch Pro. I added that they have created there own software using DOS. And that it is less prone to viruses and crashing. There will be more to come about the POS system directly from the mouth of someone who works for the company so keep watching this exciting site.
Disc Jockey WiKi EdIt
I haven't edited my wikis in a while so I thought I better get to it. This edit is about the hottest DJ to come out of the University of Delaware. DJ Amaze. I added that DJ Amaze was (born Dave Mays) started his radio career at WMPH Super 91.7 FM but soon began guest DJing on well-known stations like KISS 101.7 FM and Philadelphia's notorious Power 99 FM. I could also have added how he used to spin records in his room in pencader residence hall. He would make mixes and hand them out on campus. I will try to post more info about local DJsbecause I myself am a DJ. So if anyone needs a DJ for any occasion comment me and let me know.

Brand Extensions
In class we were discussing brands and how important the establishment of brand loyalty and familiarity is when attempting to make a product successful. If a brand has value it has many advantages when dealing with customers. I wanted to focus on the ability to launch new products as brand extensions. A brand extension is a new product under the same brand name. This new product has an edge over other products just because of the brand name. Customers who have relied on the name before will be more accepting of this new product and more willing to try it out. This is especially the case for Google. Google has launched a number of services, including Google Earth; Google Finance; Froogle and Google Local. I was browsing on Slashdots website and came across a blog about a new product being launched by Google. It is called 1-800-Google Launches.
I thought it was amazing how Google is now getting off the Internet and into the phone land lines, cell phones and text messaging. Customers are now able to access information without a computer and without the use of a web browsing mobile device. Some features of this new search is you can find a business listing by category. Just say "pizza," for example. You can send the listing details to your mobile phone via SMS(text messaging). The service is fully automated, so it doesn't rely on human operators. It connects you directly to the business, free of charge. Pretty much everyone uses Google and they have a place in our hearts and we will be more likely to use this new product because of the brand value of Google.

stiuqxela
The rest of the semester we will be conducting a little experiment to see how search works and how it can be manipulated. We are to blog the key word stiuqxela with a link to www.packers.com.. We will see how key words and inbound links and key words in anchor texts of links will affect the search. Also we can get a prize at the end of the semester if our blog comes up as the number 1 site when stiuqxela is searched.
